I'm Lucy,

I’m the heart behind Camryn Captured - and storytelling through natural, candid imagery is what I love most.

I was born in the tiny NSW town of Kendall and have always felt deeply connected to small-town, country Australia. After moving to Albury at a young age, I completely fell in love with the region - the people, the pace, the landscapes. It still feels like home in every sense.

Creativity has always been part of who I am. I knew I wanted a career that allowed me to express that side of myself while connecting with others in a genuine way and photography became that perfect space. It allows me to create with intention while working alongside the most beautiful families, couples and businesses across Albury-Wodonga and surrounds.

I’m naturally relaxed, warm and quietly outgoing. I love a good laugh, exploring new places, and not taking life too seriously - and that’s exactly the energy I bring to my sessions. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable, unrushed and at ease, so your images feel effortless, honest and beautifully you.

My Style

I’d describe my photography style as natural, authentic and relaxed.

I’m constantly inspired by the Victorian High Country and the rural landscapes I grew up around. Give me open paddocks, rolling hills and beautiful natural light, and I’m in my element. The Australian landscape creates the most effortless backdrop - simple, grounding and timeless.

I’m all about capturing real moments. The in-between laughs, the wind in your hair, the way you naturally connect when you forget the camera is there - that’s the magic to me. I don’t want anything to feel stiff or overly posed.

My sessions are laid-back and easy. I’ll guide you when you need it, but mostly I just create space for you to be yourselves. When you feel comfortable and relaxed, that’s when the most beautiful, genuine images happen.
